Researchers invented the new technology named DecNef. It can remove phobias and PTSD from the brains using brain scanning technology and artificial intelligence. For the time being, drugs or aversion therapy are used for treatment, but they sometimes cause side effects or flashback. In that point, DecNef functions in patient’s subconscious that they don’t have any negative effects. An Japanese researcher hopes to put DecNef to practical use in the near years.

The other day I saw the TV program about PTSD patient of 3.11, and I realized seriousness of such trauma once again. Thus I believe this kind of technology is useful especially for Japan. However, we should mind a risk of mind control. DecNef can remove our fears fundamentally and this mechanism is effective in therapy. But if it is abused by terrorists or government, there are possibility that cruel criminals won’t be arrested or a despotic state will establish. It is really dangerous. Therefore, I wish practical application of DecNef will be carefully proceeded.
Thailand’s king Bhumibol Adulyadej was died on 13th September. The successor will be the crown prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, but he seeks to postpone his coronation for at least 1 year to mourn his father with nations. In Thailand, a lot of nations wear black, and mourners gather and sing a book of condolences to pay their respects to Bhumibol. In Thailand, the new construction was admitted last August, and it needs the signature of the kind to have an effect. This construction is necessary to hold a general election next year. If the general election won’t be hold, nation’s discontent will increase and there will be a political instability. It is true that death of a relative is a heartbroken thing and it takes a lot of time to overthrew sadness. However I believe the king takes a responsibility for one country, so the coronation should be done as soon as possible.
Work Life Balance. This is what I place the most highest value on in my life. It means to value a private life while working with the rewarding and a sense of fulfillment. Keeping this balance is important because I believe we are able to lead a fulfilling life for the first time both work and a private life enrich. I encountered this concept when I read a certain book, and since then this has been my philosophy. Now we have various choices and be able to go to diverse ways, all the more we have to consider what we really want to do, and the meaning of happiness in the true sense.
I hold up Finland as an example. Finland took six place in the national happiness revel in 2015. I believe one of the reasons lies in their goodness of keeping a work life balance.
First, Finn wish for mental happiness and place a high value on a private life. For instance, when they are asked what they want to gain, most of them seem to mention the health of their family rather than a purchase of a big house or car. It shows they don’t pursue material happiness but mental one. It is true that we can buy what we want if we do nothing but work, but material satisfaction is temporary and it doesn’t continue. Thus it is important to value on and spare time for a private life.
Second is their values about work. When Finn apply for a job, they decide upon the contents or whether they can grow through that job. In fact, we tend to choose work based on fame or salary, but this work might not be worth doing, and I couldn’t feel the rewarding of it. It’s not a good ideas to spend our life on doing such a work. In addition, even though we do nothing but work and get much money, our desire for money is boundless thus it does not fulfill us. In order to reach the real happiness, we should respect what we really hope.
In this way, to place a value on a private life at the same time to feel the rewarding of our work would lead us to a fulfilling life. We can have diverse choices in this time. All the more, it is important to be honest with our feelings and seek for the true happiness. I believe keeping a work life balance is the key in my life.
The anti-establishment Five Star Movement has won mayoral races in Roma and Turin last week. The successful candidate are female, and especially one in Roma becomes its first female mayor. Roma is a capital city and Turin is a big power base for the Democratic Party (DK) in Italy, thus these wins would be a significant step for Five Star Movement. At the same time they have a big effect on the DK and the direction that the prime minister Matteo Renzi is moving toward will be paid attention.
My opinion
Today Italy has lots of problems such as a depression and a high rate of unemployment, but the government hasn’t been able to solve them in status quo. Also the political and business world are dominated by matured men. Thus these wins would be progressive. However I believe Five Star Movement hasn’t been a party enough to reform one country because its policy is not reliable. For instance, it supports Universal Basic Income, but it doesn’t show a concrete source of revenue. In the current situation in Italy, Five Star Government must be a key thus it should be a more reliable party. And more than that, the Prime Minister Matteo Renzi should have a leadership to control and unit Italy.
Hundreds of people were rescued from the drug rehabilitation shelter by the police in Western Mexico. According to the attorney, people were forced to live in an overcrowding and fed in a subhuman and inappropriate way, moreover women and children who showed signs of abuse were found. The police detained eleven people under the guilty of maltreatments and abuses. Authorities said they were trying to make rehabilitations to treat patient with dignity.

In Mexico, it is legal to possess a small amount of drug as an individual in the first place, and the Mexican government legislated this law under an intention that it’s better to spend the limited budget on measures of drug cartels. But one of reasons of an expansion of them is poverty, and the situation of it is worsening because the government doesn’t take enough actions to this situation. It is necessary to go ahead with an improvement of drug rehabilitation shelters of course, but I believe the government should take actions to improve the poverty fundamentally.
Murle tribe in the South Sudan has attacked the village in the Ethiopia bordering the South Sudan. It was Nuer tribe to have been attacked and more than 200 people were killed and 100 children were abducted by Murle. Like this attack has frequently occurred in this region for the purpose of stuff, livestock, lands and the right of posture. To this situation, Reda Ethiopian minister of communication mentioned that the relation between the countries was good. In the South Sudan, a civil war has occurred since 2013.

The South Sudan is young country which became independent from Sudan in 2011. Therefore the government has not had a power enough to control its nation yet. Now a civil war also brakes out in the South Sudan. They were originally occurred from the political issue between the former and present presidents. They are in opposite tribes that this issue moved to the one between tribes. As consequence, the South Sudan isn’t far from developing infrastructure and is sinking into poverty. That’s why I think Murle tribe come to have such a purpose. Although the minister sais that the relationship is good, the situation will be bad if tribe disputes continue to occur and expand beyond the border. Now it is necessary for the South Sudanese government to have a power enough to control the country.
