Karate will join as new sports for the Tokyo Olympic. Karate is indigenous fighting style. Karate was born in Okinawa in 15th century. It was influenced by Chinese martial arts. The movement that they would want karate to include into the Olympic game has been delayed. The reason is that there was a divisions in the movement around the world, with stalwarts long preferring to adhere to their interpretation rather than to work together to create an global art form.
I think integrating karate into the Olympics has a great meaning. Karate is famous for not only Japan but also all over the world. So I think this movement will be attracted by a lot of people. Olympic is a big event. It has a various faces, such as economics, politics, cultures, and so on. I think sports has a huge power which can connect countries even if the world situation is unstable. So integrating karate, which has long history in Japan, will be an occasion to connect Japan and other countries. In addition, I think tourists will increase for Tokyo Olympic, this will effect to Japanese economy, too.

Germany’s economy ministry mentioned that Donald Trump’s project would damage the US economy. According to ministry, they said that his project will cause ” shrinking gross domestic product, fewer jobs and higher unemployment”. Trump says his economic plan would succeed. But some of economists has questions. The plans would violate international or US law and could be “no basis for a realistic economic policy”.
If the assumption that the economists suggested becomes true, I suppose that the disparity in economic power in the US. Nowadays, I heard that the poor in the US is increasing. I think this is caused by the US government policy. For example, ” Obama care” was started by US government about 5,6 years ago. I think this system did not suit the US because this country was based on the policy of low welfare low burden. I think that whether the economic plan will succeed or not depends on the policy is the country. So I think that the person who become the president should think about the economic plan which will be fit the country. And I also think that If Trump’s pledge is good for the US, it will succeed.

I believe that the nuclear power generation should be abandoned. There are 59 nuclear plants in Japan. In 2010, 32% of the electric power consumed in Japan is nuclear power. Of course, there was no incident about the nuclear power. Japan relied on the nuclear power. However, there was a terrible earthquake on March 11, 2011. This earthquake caused Fukushima nuclear disaster. It is said that this accident displayed its power not only to Japan but also to the world and it proved that the nuclear power is very dangerous.

First of all, we must not forget that a lot of people was threatened by the radioactivity after the disaster. In fact, many people has forced to take refuge from the damage of the radioactivity and some of them have considered that they should evacuate. It is said that there were 500,000 people who became unable to live in there same as before because of the radioactivity. And I think many people will suffer from aftereffects of exposure to radioactivity. I have also heard that a number of crops cultivated in Fukushima was contaminated with the radioactivity. Not only the consumers but also the farmers who produced such crops were devastated by this accident. And this image was too big, so it still continues in spite of there were few effects of radioactivity. This would be the biggest damage for the farmers. Second, I would like to refer to the point that the nuclear power is not only way to produce the electric power. Nowadays, there are some other ways of power generation. One example of this is the thermal power generation. As a matter of fact, there was a time that Japanese consumed only the thermal power instead of the nuclear power. We lived without using the nuclear power, but we could live. Indeed, we sometimes had trouble because of an expensive electrical charges, but I think it cannot be avoided for the safety. It is clear that the nuclear power is not always necessary. Also I think Japan should follow the other countries. It is said that some other countries abandoned the nuclear power. For example, Germany has decided ban of nuclear power generation because of the danger when Chernobyl disaster occurred. In there, the usage rates of renewable energy is increasing and they showed they can live without the nuclear power. I don’t think the nuclear power is the only way to make electricity.

In conclusion, I think Japan should stop using the nuclear power in the future. Japan must know the danger of this power than any countries. It is not possible to abandon nuclear power generation immediately, but we can decrease them gradually. I hope that such movement can lead us to more safety society.

 

Norway becomes first country to ban deforestation because they want to stop the global warming. It is said that if we don’t stop raising the rate, the world’s rain forests could completely vanish in 100 years. In their pledge, they decided find a way to source essential products in order not to impact on their ecosystems. Norway has also shown their attitude toward this problem, and they are grappling these problems now.
In my opinion, I think other countries should restrict deforestation, but I think it is impossible to STOP it. The reason why I thought is that we sometimes need wood material so that we make paper, our houses, furniture and so on. These are necessaries of life no matter what. However we can restrict to use woods. It is said that the forest is decreasing on the earth and because of that, the global warming is proceeding. In addition, I thought that the biodiversity will be broken by deforestation. I feel that we should reconfirm about the benefit of the nature. I sometimes heard that we can’t find something is very important and necessary for us until we lose something. I think the nature is one of that. We should remind importance of the forest.

In Brazil, there is an allegation about the president Rousseff. The parliament insists she illegally hid the scale of the budget deficit. If the Brazilian Senate starts the impeachment about her, she will be suspended from office, pending a trial that could last six months. On the other hand, there is a man who emphasizes that there had been irregularities during the lower house session, so he complained that it should annul. Anyway, the president’s approval rating have plummeted recently, so a prompt settlement is required.
I think the parliament should research the detail of facts. Actually, there is a voice which there had been irregularities, and Ms. Rousseff said she is innocent.
And I also think even if the doubt is truth, she should not resign by the impeachment but she should resign by herself in order to take responsibility. As in Japan, a lot of politicians who were suspected by the parliament or citizens submitted their resignations by their own.
In addition , l think the impeachment threatens the democracy because it means the parliament makes the person who was elected by the citizens quit.
Because of these reasons, I think the impeachment is not good system in the first place.
In Brazil, they will be hold Olympic next summer. I think this decision will affect Olympic because it cause social disorder and anxiety.
I hope this situation is going to be fine as soon as possible.
