Summary
Scientists argue that they find a way to remove traumas and phobias from the brain. Now, in most treatments for traumas, phobias and PTSD, drugs or aversion therapy. But researchers say their technique which is called neurofeedback or DecNef is able to remove traumas and specific fears from the brain. This uses brain scanning and artificial intelligence.Firstly, implant a fear memory in brain under a specific condition. After that, change the memory into good memory under the same condition. By this operation, the fear memory is overwritten, and traumas or phobias are removed from the brain, researchers beleive.

Opinion
I think that removing bad memories from the brain is not necessarily good. There are two reasons. Firstly, we can grow larger as a human being by an existence of bad memories. I have experienced various hard things in my life. So, I have a lot of bad memories. But I could be stronger and learn a lot of things as often as I experienced hard things. Secondly, I think that this technique has a dangerous side. Indeed, removing bad memories from the brain is effective in reducing the pain of people who have traumas, phobias and specific fears. But this technique can be used for other purpose. For example, if it is used for operations of people’s thought, the user of it can exclude people who don’t agree the user’s opinion and make autocratic nation easily. Abuses of this technique may cause unhappiness of a lot of people. Thus, I think that removing bad memories from the brain is not necessarily good.

Summary
More than 1200 police and officials in France have started a plan to clear the “Jungle” camp in Calais. At least 7000 people has been living in the camp in unclean conditions. Some coaches carry migrants to refugee centers across France. But some migrants will refuse to go because they want to get to the UK. The UK has started to accept some of around 1300 unaccompanied children from the camp. There are two reasons that migrants want to go to the UK. One is that many migrants believe that it is easier to find jobs in the UK. Another is that many of them can speak English but cannot speak European languages.

Opinion
I hadn’t known that there is the “Jungle” migrant camp in France until I read this article. In my image to France, France is the elegant and urbanized country. This problem is not close to me, so it is out of reality for me. But if I were in the situations of migrants in Calais, I wouldn’t want to go too. Because I want to choose an option which has a better prospect of finding jobs and I am afraid of being taken to a country where I cannot get through what I say to its people. Any person has human rights. For every person’s happy life, we have to protect human rights. I think so.

1.   I believe that Ichiro’s hit record should be admitted as a world record. Ichiro whose real name is Ichiro Suzuki is a professional baseball player who made 4268 hits in Japanese and American baseball teams as of July 7. He made a new hit record on June 16. But this record isn’t admitted as an official record, because the number of hits he made puts hits in Japan and the U.S. together. He is a person who Japanese people make a boast of to the world. I have yearned for him since the day I started to play baseball.
2.    In Japan, his record has featured by TV news, newspapers and etc. Many of Japanese congratulated him on making new hit record. On the contrary, in the U.S., his record haven’t been in the spotlight and few people admit it as a world record. Especially the person who doesn’t admit the record is Pete Rose who is a former professional baseball player and has world hit record, 4256 hits. He shows an attitude that Japanese baseball level is lower than that of America. So, he thinks Japanese professional baseball league is the same level as the Minor League in America. He said if hits Ichiro made in Japan are counted in his hit record, hits Mr. Rose made in Minor League in America should be counted in his hit record. Indeed, there is some truth in what he say. But I think whether hits made in America or not in America, all hits should be admitted officially because that Ichiro made hits as a result of his effort is a fact.
3.   Ichiro made great records and got titles in Major League Baseball. For example, hit record in one season, the Rookie of the Year, leading hitter and etc. He has brilliant achievements in America. The number of hits he made per a game is more than that of Pete Rose. Furthermore he is a Japanese. Japanese baseball players usually start their career in Japan. After they do well in Japan, they challenge Major League. If Ichiro had started his career in Major League, he would break the world hit record of Pete Rose. Considering his achievements and possibility, his hit record deserves to be admitted.
4.    Wherever he made hits, the fact that he made hits the most in the world and his effort should be appraised highly. The most important thing is not where he do but what he do. From this point, there is no room to complain. That is why I believe that Ichiro’s hit record should be admitted as a world record.

Summary
Big-name artists, for example, Selena Gomez, Lady Gaga and etc, are teaming up with Billboard magazine to campaigne Congress to pass stricter gun regurations. More 180 musicians and music exective signed an open letter “Stop Gun Violence Now.” There is the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history in Florida in the background of the signature. In the U.S., for dangerous people, it is far too easy to get guns. The gun violence kills more than 90 people and injures hundreds more. So, to stop gun violences, the stars are taking actions.

Opinion
Gun violences and gun accidents are not close to us in Japan, so they are unrealistic for us. But in the U.S., they are very serious problems. Although I cannot understand the feeling that there are a lot of guns around me, if I were an American or in the same situation as American people, I would have no idea what to do and be afraid of a fear gun accident may happen to me. Although the U.S. is in a pretty dangerous situation, cooperation and actions by big-name artists are effective in decreasing gun violences. I hope that these actions spread all over the world, and finally gun violences disappear and people around the world can live safely.

Summary
On May 27, an engine of a Korean Air jet broke out and seven people, two men and five women, may have been injured by the accident. The fire was extinguished within the hour. Originally, the plane was going to head to seoul from Haneda airport in Tokyo, but the runway the plane was using has been closed and other flights have been temporarily halted. So, a different plane will fly to Haneda later Friday to transport the passengers. The cause of the accident was still unknown.

Opinion
I think a plane crash is the most dangerous of any accident. Because a plane crash happens in the highest place and a speed of a plane is so fast. In this case, the accident happened on the ground, but it was dangerous. That the cause of the accident is still unknown is so regrettable. Only a thing that no one was killed by the accident is happiness of unhappiness. If I were injured by the accident or a family of a person who is injured or killed by an accident, I would languish. So, the company, Korean Air, should illuminate the cause of the accident not to occur accidents like this case again.

Summary:Ben Innes, a passenger on a hijacked Egyptian plane, took a photo with a hijacker who has what looks like an explosive belt around his waist. The reason Mr.Innes asked the hijacker to do a selfie with him was to take a chance to get a closer look at his bomb. The photograph, Mr.Innes stands next to the hijacker with a broad smile, widely shared on Twitter. Mr.Innes said “It has to be the best selfie ever.”

Opinion:“Brave” is the very word to express my impression to Mr.Innes. If the hijacker’s bomb had been real, maybe Mr.Innes and the other passengers have died. Nevertheless, he bravely went up to the hijacker and took a photo with the man. If I were in his place, I couldn’t anything. Truthfully, I can’t come up with what he did. So, I respect his bravery and wit. It appears that the reason the hijacker forced to change the distination was to see his divorced wife. From this point, essentially the hijacker is tender person. It can’t say that his way to go to see his divorced wife was good, but his love for wife is true. I want to be a tender person like him.
