Uefa has begun disciplinary proceedings against Russia after “totally unacceptable” scenes at Saturday’s England-Russia game.
Charges against Russia are for crowd disturbances, racist behaviour, and setting off fireworks, Uefa confirmed.
Witnesses said trouble began in the stadium after flares were let off by Russian fans near the end of the game.
Some then climbed across barriers designed to keep rival fans apart and number of Russia supporters appeared to kick and punch fleeing England fans,
Russia’s sports minister Vitaly Mutko said Uefa had “done the right thing” to start a disciplinary case against the Russian Football Union.
“It’s the right thing. There were flares, there was a flare gun, there had been clashes in the stands, it’s necessary to sort all of this out.
Also on Sunday, French Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said alcohol restrictions near “sensitive” venues would be extended, with sales bans on match days and the eve of match days.

Violence raises two types of serious problems.
First type is the problem between Russian supporters and England supporters. This article focuses on behaviors of Russian supporters, but England supporters may behave some wrong things too.
What is the difference of then? I think Its difference is one of degree. There must be some England supporters who insult Russian supporters.In this case, which people should we criticize only Russian, or only England or both?
To begin with, There is line of permission to support because when we support our country, we will be exited. I think we should criticize both but, we should punish only Russian because they are over the line. I think the ideal is that supporters shake hands each other after the game.
Second type is the problem between supporters and law. This time people are restricted to alcohol. It is because maybe Russian supporters were drunk. If some troubles are happened, the government will restrict to prevent accidents.
In other words, our flee will be robbed and we won’t be able to enjoy watching the game.
I think supporters should control themselves and protect the manners.
