I believe in the saying that is “No cross, no crown”. It means that if you don’t to do effort, you will not succeed. Conversely, if you do effort and you will be success. It was said by Minami Takahashi, who belonged to AKB48. She said the word in the election of the center of AKB48 called “Sousenkyo” in the 2011. I like AKB48 because they must exert and pursue their dream. AKB48 is one of the most important idol group for my life. It changed my mind. Then, I talk about my history of effort.
Then I present two my histories. First, it is very difficult to fulfill dreams or to achieve goals, because they are frustrated by some reasons. In my case, I wanted to be a soccer player for my first dream but I gave it up because the amount of running was so much and I could not stand it. It was so regrettable to give it up, so, I tried to become a baseball player next. I found it fit my feelings and enjoyed playing it on the team. Even I enjoyed playing baseball, I still hated to run much as the training. Therefore I could not keep pace with the team. But I got a starting position, by I considered myself as less physical strength and power than other club members, therefore I tried to catch up others by having extra running around my house even after the club activities.
I got the good experience by this case. At first I thought that I do not need effort, but now, I think that effort is very important for me. Because I do not have some sense, physical or something.
Second I passed in the entrance examination of Keio Junior High School. I experienced examination when I was a sixth grader. I aimed at passing Keio Junior High School. But it was very difficult for me. Then I was not good at Japanese. I studied very hard, ten hours a day on average, and thus the mark of my Japanese went up by 20 points in one month.
In conclusion, the effort has various form. It is necessary for both sports and study. There are no prefect human in the world, so anyone needs to exert. Minami Takahashi also said that “Not always no cross, no crown.” Most important thing is process. Without your effort you cannot hope for success. I think that I should do effort forever. I am not regret even if the result was bad. The things taken from an effort are precious experience for me. I prove “No cross, no crown on my life.
