Summary

White House estimated that between 64 and 116 civilians have died during the year s 2009-2015 from U.S. drone strikes outside of Iraq ad Afghanistan in the same span that U.S. drone have killed between 2372 to 2581 militants. But some human rights group claimed that although they welcome the release of number of civilians that U.S. drone strike had killed, it is lower than all independent assessments estimated. Counts of civilian drone death has always been controversial. U.S. government needs to define who conceal the identities of people it has killed again.

Opinion

Actually technology has made the war much easier and reduced the number of people who unnecessarily be killed like not-armed people than it used to be before. But at the same time, technology cannot be perfect. Like this article, drone strike still kills people who is not targeted as a soldier. I cannot say they, United States, should stop using drone strikes easily but at least I can say they should try much harder not to kill civilians and not conceal the number of civilians they have killed. It is really scary to be in a situation that we never know when we get killed. For controllers of drones, it is just part of work, part of life, but for the people who live in the targeted country, it is part of war. Controller have to know that, and they have to realize they are actually killing people.

In April 27 four people died because of garbage collapse in Guatemala.Before the day of that day it rained hardly and the ground tends to be less solid and that was cause of collapse.

Even if a garbage collapse happened in Japan,I think nobody wouldn’t die because none wants to be nearby pile of garbage.However,there are many people around pile of garbage.They make a living by selling stuffs which they gathered from pile of garbage.Guatemala is developing country and there is no particular industry yet.So it’s economic is not developed.So it is not just accident but it’s tragedy which was caused by poverty.I think this kind of accident won’t decrease unless radical economic problems are solved.

I think Guatemala can accelerate its economy by tourism.There are a biggest remains of Mayan civilization.Clothes people in Guatemala put on are really colorful and beautiful.It’s also famous for coffee.There are such many kinds of high spots for tourist.However there is a big problem for tourism in Guatemala.People in Guatemala hate to be taken a photo because they believe that if you are taken photo,your soul would be deprived.As a result,development of any industry is necessary for solving this basic economic problem.

In Los Angels, two transgender women have been selected by primary voter in Utah and Colorado to run for the U.S. congress in November. Snow, one of them, who is running for the Upper house is the first transgender candidate. The other is Plowright, who is running for the House of Representatives. Unlike Snow, Plowright is not the first transgender candidate. Lately, Karen Kerin ran for it in 2000 but lost to Bernie Sanders. That is to say, they will make history if they elected.

Opinion

This news made me think about the power of the minority in the world. I say about not only transgender but also the black and women. Recently it seems that the power of them has been stronger. For example the new president of the UK is woman, and the USA is. Like these, the news that minority get power gives other minority courage and freedom. So I think if they elected, they will make great influence also to ordinary people. And I think it is important minority try to get power and make it. Like this news, when they make some action, they are attracted. I think the process that what important for them.

There were terrorism in Bangladesh in ealier this month and 22 people were killed. The government of Bangladesh decided to ban the Islamic television channnel,Peace TV. Mr Nake is the founder and president of the Mumbai-based Islamic Reserch Foundation,which owns Peace TV. He speeched freely in the TV program so the government think his speech inspired the terrorists. However,he denied an allegation the terrorists were inspired by his speech. Bangladesh’s Information Minister said that ‘administrative steps’ aims for the banning of the cannel.

Opinion
Recently,IS terrorism is the serious problem in the world. The terrorism in Bangradesh shook the world, especially Japan. Because some Japanese were killed by terrorism. You will find IS terrorists everywhere and it is difficult to find them. In the same way, it is impossible to stop their cruel act. Surely it is important to suppress IS but I think restricting the freedom of expression is excess. My discussion partner agreed this dicision by the government.He said it needs so as not to inspire people to be terrorists. I understood his opinión but we have rigts to get information freely and to make our own opinion. We shold keep fighting them on the correct way.

El Salvador is a country where the murder affairs often occur. These crimes are related with Gang violence. Gang violence has turned the small Central American country of El Salvador into the murder capital of world. The homicide rate is very high in this country because of a lot of illegal immigrant and deportation. El Salvador is under the dangerous situation.

I think this country should be given money from other countries. The reason why I think so is the government cannot maintain the peace because of the less of money. For example, in Japan, there is “Yakuza” that is a criminal gang. They bears some parallels to Gang in El Salvador. However, the crimes in Japan are fewer than in El Salvador. I think Japan has much money, so Japanese government is afford to keep the peace. Indeed, even in Japan, I’d heard that Japanese police sometimes has connection with “Yakuza”, so I think it is very complicated and it is very difficult to solve all of the root of these problems; still, I think the first thing they need is money from other countries. In addition, the whole world should know about the countries which are suffered from such crimes and they should try to save these countries.

Steven Soderbergh is producing and may direct a film about the Panama Papers. The Panama Papers is the staggering leak of financial data that gave details about how the wealthiest people in the world hide their money in offshore trusts and shell companies. The film, a co-production of Grey Matter Productions and Anonymous Content, will be an adaptation of journalist Jake Bernstein’s upcoming book Secrecy World. No casting details are available, the book won’t be published until the fall of 2017, but the producers can strike some names off their list right away: Jackie Chan, Emilio Estevez, and Emma Watson all appeared in the data leak.

 

Opinion

I wasn’t surprised at Panama Papers when I heard the data firstly. I know exist of tax heaven and hiding the wealthiest people’s money. However, I think it is not bad. The wealthiest people hate to pay tax. I don’t like it, too. So, I think tax saving is good but tax evasion is bad. Their difference is lawful means or unlawful means.

By the way, I’m interested in the movie about the Panama Papers. Nonfiction movies tell me the nonfiction incident. Watching the movies, I can get knowledge of history. So, I’m interested in the movie about the Panama Papers and I like nonfiction movies.

Summary

A two-year-old boy, Lane Graves, who was dragged into Walt Disney World’s lagoon on Tuesday evening in front of his family, was found with no damage. But surprisingly, after divers had found him, five alligators were seized and killed. There is a “no swimming” sign on the man-made lagoon, but no signs around the lagoon warn visitors about the presence of alligators.

Opinion

This is a very interesting and unbelievable news because there are alligators in the man-made lagoon, which is placed apart from natural ocean or river. The Disney World should analyse why alligators have been able to enter the lagoon. I have heard that Walt Disney World in Florida is surrounded with nature, in short there are many trees or some rivers around it. Therefore I think that we have to think about how to live in with natural environment through this news. Plus, I think that this problem is caused by carelessness of the boy’s family. According to this news, the family were relaxing although the boy was on the edge of the water, and there is a “no swimming” sign. Yes, nobody would think that there were alligators in the lagoon. But it was dangerous for everybody to swim in it because there are some risks like drowning. So we have to notice about some signs!
