This speech is about introducing the new biotechnology to replace the current meat and leather product. The speaker show us the danger and the risks of breeding and raising animals for our row materials. He proposes how we can replace these things. He says Biofabrication is efficient, and humane way to solve the risks he identified. He said animals are one of the biggest producers of greenhouse gas. Also, putting so many animals close together, it creates breeding around disease and opportunity for harm and abuse. I totally agree with his idea and the reasons are as follows.

First, we have to protect our environment. Today, we often hear about global warming. Many scientists says it is a serious problem and we should think about the new life which is more ecological. By stopping raising animals such as caw, we can  reduce the greenhouse gas, which is a serious factor of global warming.

Second, it is difficult for us to change our lifestyle completely. Sometimes, eating meats is based on the history, and the culture of country.  However,according to the speaker,Biofabrication can produce red meats without killing animals.  Also, the factory of Biofabrication is cleaner and more educational than those remoted factory produces meats and leathers today. By promoting using Biofabrication, we can have new life in more sophisticated and wonderful way with maintaining our culture.

Therefore, I believe his alternative proposal of Biofabrication gave us an opportunity to consider our current lifestyle once again and foresee our possibility of new lifestyle in the future.

We discussed about money laundering. Swiss prosecutors are investigating 53 cases of possible money laundering in their inquiry into bidding for the 2018 and 2022 FIFA world cups. At  the same time, This investigation is run by US and the organization of it is also looking into alleged breaches by officials relating to bidding. And last month,Swiss police raided a hotel in Zuich, where Fifa is based, and arrested seven of its top executives. However, until now, much less has been revealed about the Swiss investigation than the inquiry being held by FBI. The attorney says that the investigation was huge and complex in many levels, and would take a long time.

I think this is a serious problem, because Fifa is really big organization  and it has huge influence to the world. Since the Fifa world cup is the biggest competitive organization in the world , it is required to do justice. I think the most serious problem caused by Fifa is that lose people’s confidence. Now, many people in the world suspect the decisions which made by the top executives. It lead to lose the confidence of Qatar and Russia, the countries where will be the place of world cup in 2018 and 2022, because of the possibility of bidding. this suspect is very reasonable, because there are some histories of bidding. For example, France and      Asia. I think if the bidding is true, the executives of Fifa should not have the right of voting anymore. Deciding the place where tournament held needs a fairness and justice. If there are no credits about it, the meaning of world cup is gone. I hope the investigation of Fifa would go well and all of us could know the truth.

We discussed about the conflict between Muslims and Buddhists in Burma. The article says that the owner of gold shop, his wife, and an employee were convicted of theft and violence, and it triggered deadly clashes between Burma’s Muslim and Buddhist communities.  The government of Burma said was caused by political opportunists and religious extremists.  The Burmes president warned that they would use force if they do not stop it.

From this article, I think this is not only a religious problem, and conflicts are may be triggered by different reason. For example, conflict of United kingdom. In 15 century,  There were conflicts between Catholic and Protestant people. The reason of the violence was not only difference of religion, but also originated in rivalry between the two races. The discrimination in policy, such as heavy tax and restrict the election for one side people was another  big factor . In my opinion, Burma also had other causes to led the conflicts. The government should more carefully  focus on the causes and the background behind the problem, and make solution which can be help two sides. Only using a force cannot solve the conflicts completely.
