Andras forgacs is a defender of tissue engineering and CEO of Modern Meadow. He is questioned during experiment that / if you can grow parts of human body, can you also grow animal products like meat and leather? Taking this opportunity, he study deep into a subject biofabrication of animal products and he claim it is the best idea that biofabrication of animal products without killing. I think it is a great idea. There are two reasons why.

First of all, I think that killing animal is not moral. According to his saying, animal bred for meats, eggs, leather is over 60 billion. And he claimed that animals like this will be twice if the population of human beings is 100 billion at the future. According as technique of medical treatment, people will needs more animals and kills them more. Animals are living things. But pig or cows are bred to be killed while dogs or cats are loved by people like a family. There worth exist only after they died. I think biofabrication of animal products is necessary to reduce sacrifices of animal bred to be killed.

Secondly, I think biofabrication of animal products can help preventing the disease. Many diseases occur while large scale farm breed the animals for leather and meat. BSE, the disease make people die by making a hole in the brain, is one of the typical examples of those diseases. Some large scale farm, feed a cows animal feed though cows live off hay and grass. And some of those animal feeds are made of the meat of cow same like them. As a result of this immoral behavior, BSE occurred, and even people is harmed by this disease. Historically, there are a number of Diseases like BSE. Andras also gives warning disease which occurred at the bad breed condition. But I think we can prevent those cases, if we can get leather and meat without killing

Thus, I strongly agree with Andras opinion that biofabrication of animal products should be encouraged.

 

1. Summary

There was bomb threat at US Embassy in San Jose, Costa rica.

After that threat US Embassy initiated the building’s security protocols and vacated perimeter of Embassy. All meetings were on hold until this threat be cleared.

One man who said that threats and security shutdowns were normal and it is more common when the US have strained relations with other country, like the Middle East.

In 1986, the bomb detonated on the Embassy’s ground by three Panamanian. the blast caused minor structural damage and injured three people.

U.S citizens wish to stay up known all security information while here in Costa Rica. There is a service called the STEP that send occasional emails about the safety conditions of Costa Rica to travelers and expats. Also, STEP help family and friends get in touch with you in case of emergency.

 

2. My Opinion

There are a lot of threat to Embassy U.S and many countries. Embassy have to prepare for the terrorism. I think there is two way to be prepared.

Firstly, intensify security of Embassy like increasing guards. this way when the terrorist approach to the embassy, it would be more difficult.

Secondly, to give a security service like STEP. it can release citizens’s fear.

I think increasing security service like STEP is better. Because the second way give more importance to safety of citizen than the first way. Guarding citizens is what embassy have to do.

<Summary>

Last September, there were some dire warnings that West Africa Ebola, fortunately that did not happen. But the biggest Ebola outbreak ever did infect about 27,000 people and keilled more than 11,000.

So health and government officials say better ways to prevent or contain another outbreak are very much needed. A number of vaccine trials continue and different drugs are being tested.

bogdan solaja, one of the researchers, said “there are several chemo types, several classes of compounds which are actually today known to be active against Ebola. but from being active against Ebola to being a drug is long way.”

Solaja said the goal is to have an Ebola drug that can be used the way HIV and malaria drugs are now administered.

<My Opinion>

Resently, Whole world afraid Ebola virus. Before I read this article, I could’t think that ebola virus is serious problem. Because, I live in Tokyo and Tokyo environment is very different the environment of west Africa. But now, I realize seriousness about ebola virus.

Now, we can not find medicine a complete cure ebola disease. we have to makes medicine quickly as soon as possible.

I read the news about Football case.
Following is the summary and my opinion.

<The summary>

Eight football fans were killed ahead of a semi-final match at the Corinthians fan club headquarters in Sao Paulo, police and local media reported Sunday.

A Sao Paulo military police said AFP seven people were shot dead at the corinthians’ san headquarters Saturday night.
And another later died in hospital.

According to source, the fan club is not affliated with the official Corinthians football squad.

G1, the news site, wroted at least tow armed men sormed the headquarters and executed seven people.

Brazil football matches have been tainted by violence in the past. It is estimated around 30 people died in football violence in the country in 2013.

 

<My opinion>

When I read the news paper, I think Brazil has very powerful passion of football.

Because, the case was caused the love about football of Brazilian.

I don’t know exactly who are they, what was for.

But, Maybe I guess the suspects are gangster or relating to crime.

Because they have gun. it is so difficult to get gun. But, they have gun and they killed 7 people. I think they are easy to get gun because they are gangster.

Also, Brazil has very powerful passion of football and they have a lot of interest in football everyone. Even, some people the football team are symbol to their town or them. So, maybe this case is caused the love about football and their town.
