Recent study said that coffee is effective in type 2 diabetes. There are more than 1,000 distinct chemical compounds in coffee. Each ingredients potentially affect human biology. But not all compounds are helpful. More and more study will be conducted.

I have heard that coffee may bad for our health. Too much caffein make us feel tired. I paid attention to caffein addiction.
So this article surprising for me. Today there are many diabetic patients, but many coffee drinker. If this article perfectly true, drinking coffee is good way to ward off diabetes.
But, this topic tells “Specific coffee chemicals may ward off type 2 diabetes”. It has potential to benefit to disease.
It defenitely has side effect, so I think drinking too much is bad, and don’t rely on coffee to precause diabetes.
If study are more conducted and effect is assured, I will drink coffee everyday.

We discussed the possibility of 3D printing.
Recently, we are receiving a favor of 3D printing invention, which is to make a new produce that we want to make.
People around the world pay attention to this new technology, and everyone expect 3D printing change our world.
According to the article, 3D printing can not only produce a new thing, but also augment and repair things we already own.
It’s like Encore, may help us extend the value of the things we already own.
Additionally, a similar project is took up, which can mill away redundant sections of an object.
Rather than printing a new thing, repairing or augmenting can save material and energy. It may extend the possibility of 3D printing. It means sustainablitity.

Now, many kinds of new technologies are attracting world’s attention. But some have a problem that is harm for environment or needs too much costs and so on. So I think sustainablity is the most important point in the future.
Even though a technology is very convenient, if it cannot keep, that technology has no worth.
According to this view, this project, Encore, created its future. Searching new potential of technology is important for its sustainablity.

This year Germany sees 25years anniversary that Germany reunificated East and West Germany.
In that ceremony, Angela Merkel, who is German Chancellor, said that they should find a solution of migrant problem.
Merkel and President Joachim Gauck suggested they cannot solve migrant problem without corporating with other Europe country, and everyone should fulfil his or her task.
But BBC’s correspondent said that once Germany help refugees, more and more help will be needed.

When I read this article, I thought accepting refugee is difficult problem. It is because Germany, big and rich country, said that it can’t be solved on its own. We thought why accepting migrant is difficult. First, domestic employment system will be destroyed by them. Second, Neonati acts against Germany accepting migrants. It wants to protect German original history.
Like these, there are some reasons why Germany can’t accept refugee easily. So I think other country had better support refugee too. International corporation is necessary, I think.

The speaker suggested that new technology will enable us to get meat or leather without killing animals. That technology is called Biofabrication. He said “The number of animals has been increasing as that of people has been increasing. If the world population reaches 10 billion, animals will be needed double than before. And animals are responsible for greenhouse gases and needs vast land. So using Biofabrication is better way.”
I partly agree with this opinion. From the viewpoint of ethics, it’s a good way to decline depriving animals of life. In addition, reducing demand of livestock will decrease illness, and increase lands used for animals. By the way, this technology can also be used for medical. If article organs are widespread, many patients will be saved. I amazed this idea.
But I think there are some problems. First is about the cost of Biofabrication. Now, invention of 3D printer is famous topic, but it’s very expensive. I’m not sure about the cost of Biofabrication, but very high cost is expected. So it will take a lot of time until the technology becomes a part of our life.
Second, if that technology is popular, farmers who raise livestock will lose their jobs. In the world, there are many people working at stock raising, or leather industry. What should we pay salary to them even though there are no animal to raise? Of course, it’s not only money problem, but also love to their animals. It is not easy problem for farmer to stop raise animal.
Because there are many problems, I just partly agree with this. In spite of the negative side, this undoubtedly protects animals’ life and nature. So I think this idea should be released little by little. We have to solve these problems before innovate new technology.

Summary
The big civil war against president has occurred in Brundi, which is located in east Africa.
In the country, the constitution prohibit president from being reelected for three times.
But current president Pierre Nkurunziza tried to elect for the third time, so opposition and civil society groups resisted.
In this revolt, at least 18 people have been killed and more than 50,000 have fled to nighboring countries.
EU and US adivised the president to calm down the situation and delay an election. However Nkurunzizza dinied them.
Protest against him have taken place almost everyday in Bujumbura, which is capital of this country.

My Opnion
I think the president should listen to people who opposite him. If he continues to insist legitimacy of candidacy, Brundi’s democracy will collapse. I’m sorry to hear that people who insists fair election got killed, or be forced to go neighboring states for safety. What is leader? What is democracy? We need to consider these question. And we have to elect a leader with responsibility and trust. A leader also must act along people’s will.
