Donetsk Peoples’ Republic and Lugansk People’s Republic have made a joint statement, announcing that their authorities have decided to postpone dates of local elections. Ukrainian authorities set previous dates of local elections for October 25. However, LPR announced that they arrange for the local election on November 1 and DPR arrange on October 18.

The fact shows that Russian government had fallen into a critical phase because of EU and America’s economic sanctions. If DPR and LPR hold the election, East Ukraine would have been controlled by Russian government practically. However, West side which is Europe gave an economic sanction toward Russia. As the result, Russia is cornered economically. Moreover, there occurred a drop in the price of crude oil. I think Russia had no choice but to let DPR and LPR postponed the election in order to détente the friction between west side and Russia. What we have to see in the problem is that Ukraine is a victim of all the conflict between EU and Russia. Ukraine have to think of the way to save citizens as well as domestic economics, because the ongoing situation would give a lot of burdens to Ukraine.

These days more and more people in North Africa have tried to escape to European countries by boats. Many of them try it because they want to escape from disputes and poverty. However, sail by migrant boats is very dangerous. Many migrants die at sea every year, according to estimates from the U.N refugee agency. EU is apprehensive about this, but it can’t stop migrants on its own. So it asked U.N on May 12 to sanction military action to destroy migrant boats. Therefore boats used by people in North Africa, trying to escape to European countries, are in crisis of being broken.

I think EU need reduce the number of people dying in sail by migrant boats, but it is more important to make the living conditions of North Africa better than to break boats used by migrants. In North Africa, many people suffer from disputes and poverty, and they try to sail to European countries to escape from them. Migrants will find other ways to escape to Europe, even if EU destroys their boats, because their living conditions are still bad. Making living condition in North Africa is difficult, but it is very important to stop people try to escape to Europe.

Reportedly, the dispute started when a Muslim owner of the gold shop beat a Buddhist customer on the head. The dispute has spread to neighbor towns. Many Muslims have been persecuted or been destroyed since the clashes began on 20 March. Burma’s government intends to use force if the state of the dispute turns for the worse, Burmese president said. I think religious disputes are difficult to settle, because beginnings of these disputes are very old. However, reason for many of these disputes is that many people discriminate others only by their religions. So I think we have to see people by many points, not only by their religions.
