I watched “Leather and meat without killing animals” in the class. I had thought that it was natural for us to kill animals to eat them until I saw this movie because this was a way to live. Actually, I have never guessed a harmful influence to kill animals but this video made me recognize killing animals too much destroys an environment of the earth. The argument is reasonable for me to improve biofabrication and not to kill animals any more.
First, we should protect against environmental problems. In fact, animals cause global warming because they are one of the largest users of land, fresh water and one of the biggest producers of greenhouse gases. Andras Forgacs said animals are the main cause of the phenomenon. It was surprising to me. In these days, a global warming problem gets more and more serious. Moreover, he predicted the number of animals will be increased about twice in thirty years as population of the world is increase as well as animals and we need more meat and leather. It is necessary for us to sustain a condition of the earth and not to have the number of animals raised.
Secondly, biofabrication is an innovative technology because it can generate not only meat or leather but also organs in a continual and virtuous way. He said biofabrication was a natural evolution of a manufacture technique. People are able to get much meat and leather without killing animals. It would enable us to solve those problems such as global warming and the number of animals and so on.
In conclusion, we should accept biofabrication more widely and stop killing animals. This video taught me various issues of killing animals which I have never known. I think we have to adopt this new technology because it is a key to problems Andras Forgacs mentioned.

We discussed Guatemala arrests 3 in killings of 2 journalists. According to the article, three people killed two journalists. Moreover, two of them were police officer. Two journalists named Danio Lopez and Federico Salazar were killed on March 10 in a park in a southern municipality of Mazatenango.
The reason why they were killed is not writ wen in this article but I think a local mayor ordered policeman to kill them. They had filed a complaint against him because he had made death threats to them. He would be angry about being written about him in an article and decided to kill them.
In Japan, liberty of expression is protected perfectly by a constitution, so we can say, think, write anything. Actually, many people criticize a policy of Japanese government. On the other hand,
Authorities in Guatemala is despotic and the trouble like that may occur.
I think it is natural for all of people to say and write anything we want. There are nothing to restrain our expressions in my opinion.
Spain to vote in regional and municipal elections
We discussed Spain to vote in regional and municipal elections at a last class. This is about a change of power of political parties in Spain. In the past, there were two major parties in the country. However, they disappointed citizens for economic crisis and a series of corruption scandals. People have suffered from them. Finally, two traditional parties called Popular Party (PP) and the Socialists (PSOE) Party have lost many seats.
Instead of them, fresh parties named Ciudadanos and the anti-austerity party Podemos got many seats in regional election. They adopted pro-business agenda and traditional parties were fear of it.
This occasion like Spain occurred in Japan. A party whose name is the Democratic Party became a major one over the Liberal party, which was a traditional one and we were shocked by the news. Nevertheless, the Democratic Party failed their policy and it made us depressed and finally, the Liberal party came back to a main party in 2013. Japanese economy is getting better and better.
The economic situation in Spain is such that of Japan in 2009. I can understand feelings of Spanish. Each government should recognize that they have responsibility to our lives.

In my group, I read and talked about “Rio 2016 Olympic preparations damned as ‘worst ever’ by IOC”. The article has said five years after Rio de Janeiro became the first South American city to be awarded the Olympics, preparations for the 2016 Games have been damned by a senior International Olympic Committee official as the “worst ever”. I think Brazilian government cannot prepare enough to arrange a construction of stadiums, railways and so on. One of reasons is shortage of a budget to my knowledge. This problem may be serious because many people would look forward to Rio 2016 Olympic and come there. Moreover, Rio will be crowded with many foreigners and panicked, so Olympic committee in Brazil should make a specific regulation.
Olympic 2020 will take place in Tokyo. I support this event in Tokyo. This is because it can cause much influence on Japanese economy. Japanese government is able to earn sufficient money from tourists. They will spend much money on traveling expenses, food and tuition of hotels. We should make an enough arrangement to satisfy all spectators.
