There are many Chinese medicine shops in London. These shops sell medicines that made from endangered animals. Tiger bone, rhino horn and bear bile are typical example of endangered animals. The massacres of the endangered animals continue still increasing. Operation Charm started then. It encourages people not to buy illegal medicines made from endangered animals. The posters of it was made. Almost traditional Chinese medicines are legal in London. But, some of them are still made from endangered animals. Andy Fisher who is head of the Metropolitan Police’s wildlife crim unit said that it is quite unacceptable that illegal acts in London are contributing to the decline of creatures like the tiger. Many illegal items made from endangered animals continue being still confiscated in London.

The photograph of the website of Operation Charm which is on this article gave a shock to me. The people remain clam around a dead tiger. I think that this photograph describes people’s indifference toward endangered animals. It was revealed that the endangered species are not well-known by the last discussion. I think that we should apply interest to this problem more. I also think that the U.K. should remake a law about the Chinese medicine better. In that way, they should check illegal Chinese medicines. Although I think that poaching endangered animals doesn’t run out, I hope that it will have dwindled.
