Is Biofabrication a future savior of the meals?

The speaker talks about biofabrication. Biofabrication can 3D-print human tissues and organs. He thinks that if it can do that, it can also make animal products like meat and leather. In fact, it is possible. He insists that we should need to move past just killing animals as a resource to something more civilized and evolved. That means that we should eat foods which were made by biofabrication. He insists that what we do today is crazier than what we will do. In other words, he intends to protect animals by Biofabrication.

I have two opinions about this insistence.

First, I think it is good, too. Now, there are many endangered animals all over the world. Some species of animals are faced with extinction. The human being has most of causes. It is not allowed for us to annihilate other animals. We should use it, if we injure nothing with using it. So I agree with his opinion on this point.

Second, I think that the food chain may collapse. We depend on this for a meal if this is adopted. When we don’t hunt wild animals, the number of wild animals increases. Then a large quantity of animals eat plants, and plants are endangered. As a result, we may not eat vegetables. Can biofabrication make vegetables? There may be an illogical jump in that, but this may happen. I have such a question. I don’t think yet that this is a perfect idea.

I think that biofabrication is very useful, but there is a problem. We should seek a solution to the problem. We should prepare a gentle world for the animals and the plants. I hope biofabrication overcomes the problem and it comes true.
